This ultralight limited edition is built in Ultra80X, a state-of-the-art kite & wing laminate from Challenge Sailcloth - a woven UHMWPE with a tight matrix of UHMWPE inserts for dimensional stability and structure. Ultralight bags in this weight class are typically silpoly, and they collapse and fight your hand on the way in. This one holds its shape. Made at the request of Ben Flowers, a climber who wanted the least possible weight on long approaches in the North Cascades.
